I'm Chelsey Sanderson - The Owner and Lead Planner of Charlotte Fête!
I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. Yes, that makes me a "unicorn", also known as a true native. I attended Queens University of Charlotte for my undergraduate degree, so I literally haven't left the city in 25 years (and I am perfectly content with that decision)!
I'm the oldest of four children and all of our names start with the letter 'C'. My father, Dave, survived the Miracle on the Hudson in 2009 and is a motivational speaker!
When I was 16 years old, I attended my first wedding and immediately fell in love with the industry. I'll never forget the way that I felt when I saw a bride walk down the aisle for the first time. From that day on, I knew I was going to be a wedding planner someday. I launched this company on my 25th birthday - 10/24/2016.
I've always been an entrepreneur at heart. I was the neighborhood babysitter with business cards and an online scheduling system for my clients.
For over a year and a half, I served as the Special Events Manager for the Mint Museum of Art, which is a venue that hosts approximately 400 events (70 of those being weddings) a year. I got the chance to work with the best vendors in Charlotte, while gaining invaluable experience for my career.
In my spare time, I am a freelance Professional Wrestling Analyst (this is not a joke!) I am an avid lover of Tory Burch, barre classes and margaritas.
